Victorian terrace house in Ash Grove one of the most sought after streets in Hyde park. The house is old and homely with lots of character.It is close to all local amenities and within easy walking distance of bus stops and train station for transport into the city centre, actually you could easily walk into the centre in 20/ 25 mins. The university is a 10 min walk The room is a good size double it has a double bed, solid wood wardrobe, pine chest of drawers and a sofa I'm happy to add any other bits of furniture that you may require so long as it isn’t Ikea flat packed type furniture.The floor is original Victorian stripped pine and there is a large original Victorian sash window.. The shared facilities include a modern kitchen on the upper level of the house with all the usual white goods ,breakfast bar and a large velux window. There is also a lounge up there which is quite small with low level furniture velux window stripped pine floor. There is another lounge on the same level as the room that is available the current tenants are using this as a music room.There is a white tiled bathroom with a shower bath type thing with a miras electric shower, instant hot water to the sink, central heating radiator etc.The other people living there are all young professionals, easy going reasonabfly clean and tidy, though not obsessive.There are gardens to the front and rear of the house, both are a bit overgrown but are full of greenery not concreted over as many landlords have done.The rent includes all bills everything is included there is nothing else to pay and no agency fees.I own the property and am available to carry out repairs most of the time. I try to maintain a good relationship with my tenants and aim to select tenants that I think would be compatible.
